IN reply to Mr Nolan of Blackburn Drama Club and the issue of smoking on stage.
If a play requires an actor to murder someone then they don't actually shoot, stab, strangle or kill the other actor, so why do they need to actually smoke on stage?
It's called acting for a reason. Let them use artificial cigarettes, I am sure the audience is wise enough to understand.
