THE Lancashire Telegraph has published three excellent letters recently, two from Councillor Salim Mulla and one from John Jacklin.
Two expressed views on the Harry Potter books.
John Jacklin said we should accept the books for being a good yarn.

His second letter covering the ongoing war in Iraq was par-excellence, well written.
Bring our boys home, and cease these long drawn out and somewhat hypocritical confrontations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Considering the present day gun law, crime and decline of social standards in our respective countries - Britain and America - it doesn't exactly exonerate our democratic way of life.
