RE the letter regarding statins from Paul Canns of Help the Aged. Is he saying statins are a must have' tablet for anyone with heart problems?
No Paul, what does for one does not do for everyone.
Some people take statins without problems, others suffer bad muscular pains. I am one of them.Twice I have been prescribed statins and then could hardly walk 50 yards.
