I TOOK part in the Race for Life at Witton Park with two friends.
We read the article in today's Telegraph and yes, what a fantastic evening it was - such an amazingly happy atmosphere and all those wonderful people taking part for so many reasons.
We felt elated and happy crossing the finishing line. Then we got back to our cars and both my friends discovered to their shock that their cars had been broken into and their handbags stolen from the boots of their cars.
Whatever can possess such evil people who can take advantage of women at such an event.
It was chilling to think that this despicable act was being carried out as we and hundreds of others were doing our little bit for such a good cause. It just left us feeling sickened.I just hope these people get whatever they deserve.
