Help those who rent their homes
RE, CHEERS: East Lancashire brewers raise a glass as chancellor George Osborne cuts beer duty I see the coalition are again pandering to those who aspire to owning their own homes. Adding £50 to every £200 saved is a kick in the teeth to those who have no choice but to rent and are penalised for having too many bedrooms. When is any government actually going to bring social housing into the 21st century and provide homes for those who will never be able to afford to buy?
