RE, Don’t feed ducks bread – give them oats and peas instead...

Oats and peas? You’ve got to be joking me!

I get the idea someone is about to set up a charity to fight the ‘duck obesity epidemic’ and apply for taxpayer funding to run it.

People love feeding bread to the ducks and the ducks love eating it and it has been going on for a lot longer than The Canal and River Trust.

To be honest, I’m getting quite tired of ‘experts’ popping up and telling us what to do. It may actually be true that bread harms ducks, but I’ve so lost faith in the word ‘experts’, that I’m likely to ignore anything anyone who calls themselves one, says.
