RE, Builders submit full planning application for 110-house development in Darwen So where is an appropriate place to build this kind of development? It’s better on the edge of towns than in true countryside.
What the old greenbelt is doing is actually promoting development in the heart of true countryside in my opinion when we should be building on the edge of towns that already have infrastructure to support it.
And people say why not build on brownfield which I’m all for but who wants to live in a rundown town centre when they’re spending upwards of 150K. This is just another case of not in my backyard.
