AS a Christian I fully endorse the comments of the Bishop of Burnley concerning the lack of Christmas cards carrying the Christmas message in them.
It is like they want us to forget why there is such a thing as Christmas.
For many years now, although it takes me twice as long to write my cards, I always write on the envelope: Jesus is the reason, for the season. Because without the birth of Jesus Christ in a stable all those years ago there would not be a Christmas at all.
