SO another Premier League manager resigns due to the enormous pressure which he finds himself, and due to the stress which the Premier League is these days.
The clubs which are promoted to the top flight these days are under siege from the first game and unfortunately they find themselves struggling after only a handful of games. The clubs which come up don’t get the big decisions from officials and they feel that they don’t really belong there.
It is a cauldron as soon as you enter the Premiership, and Ian Holloway won’t be the last manager to suffer.
If you don’t produce the results you know you are on thin ice, regardless of what you’ve achieved.
The Premier League is a cruel world when things are not going well, as Ian Holloway has found out.
Many more will follow him through the exit door.
M Hibbert, Burnley.
