SOPHIE Holgate and her family would just like to say a massive thank you to all who came for afternoon tea on November 25, and to everyone who donated cakes, jams, pies, raffle prizes, cash donation and not forgetting all who helped on the day.
The day was a great success and raised £2,000 for cystic fibrosis, this was down to the generosity of everyone involved.
We cannot thank you enough and we hope that we can make this a yearly event, so that we can keep raising money for this life-threatening condition.
Then one day they will be able to find a cure for Sophie and all the other children and adults with cystic fibrosis.
Sophie is doing fine at the moment, but this is due to the constant care and attention that she receives at home, through Clitheroe doctors and the Royal Blackburn Hospital.
