RE: ‘Project at Blackburn nature reserve aims to help threatened species’ – we had a beautiful butterfly garden complete with an ornamental pond which cost £1million to build at the top of the road before the entrance to Pleasington Cemetery.
It was opened by David Bellamy in the early 1970s and was a peaceful place to visit.
Now it has been left to go to rack and ruin. What a waste of time and money.
