YOU can talk about education, adverts, whatever, but binge drinking will continue to ruin health, underpin anti-social behaviour and be a drain on the health services.

That being so, the only way is to limit the proof levels by law and bung on enough tax to pay for havoc wreaked on individuals, property, health care and taxpayers due to self inflicted' and conscious determination to pour alcohol down the throat in the name of having a good time.

All treatment by NHS and paramedics should be charged, non-payment would result in non-treatment. No treatment without ID and ID would identify those who default on payment.

Yet that would leave them untreated and at risk, but the knowledge of that would be known before they pour the first drink down the throat and non-treatment and risk would be their choice. That's their problem.

People struck down by strokes and heart attacks will die because some drunk is tying the ambulance and crew. Think about that.
