IT’S gone very quiet on the Colne to Skipton railway front. What’s happening?
I was a member of the campaign group SELRAP, but I think maybe the line will never reopen – though I pray that I am wrong.
I’t been over 10 years and there’s still no action.
Why don’t the members start clearing the trackside brambles or put up a massive sign on Vivary Way, where the trackbed crosses the road?
Then at least folk could see a bit of movement.
And maybe a sign where the level crossing was at Earby on the road to Skipton.
SELRAP have worked their socks off, but let’s see some action clearing the trackbed of 41 years of vegetation.
