It is your party’s policy of mass building as a short fix for growth, when investment in manufacturing is the way forward. Sharing a pork pie and a cuppa with Eric Pickles won’t get you anywhere. He doesn’t care about decimating our countryside or communities, which is why he refuses environmental impact reports being carried out on all the current proposed developments.
Furthermore, Nick Boles nailed his flag to the mast when he said that ‘houses are better than green fields’.
I feel ashamed that I voted Conservative, to end up with a government that is just as out of touch as the last bunch we had in Number Ten.
