WITH reference to your story ‘Blackburn bus welcomed home’ (LT, June 26), I am sure that the build quality of vehicles has contributed to the decline of ELCB.
They built them nearly nuclear bomb-proof and they will outlast the planet.
You can’t help but smile, when you get on a bus in Hong Kong and see that it was built in Blackburn.
It’s a real tribute to the dedication to detail of the town’s craftsmen, the like of which will rarely be matched again.
You can be rightly proud.
