No, the people in the Sudell Ward of Darwen did not get an offer of Housing Market Renewal. That all went to – guess who? The Sunnyhurst ward!
You complain that ‘Councillor Roy Davies is once again complaining that 200 empty houses in his ward need renovating.’ I make no apologies for this to try to get our young people training and first- time buyers into decent homes.
I was under the impression that the job of a good councillor was just that!
Perhaps if, when your Labour government was in charge, they had looked at the housing problem in a more proactive manner, the housing market would not be in such a mess now.
