A WOMAN was taken to hospital after she was knocked over in Great Harwood.
The 57-year-old woman was crossing Queen Street near the junction with Glebe Street shortly before 1pm on Friday, when she was struck by a green Vauxhall Tigra.
She was knocked to the ground and fractured her clavicle in the fall.
Police said the driver, a 21-year-old woman from Rishton, stopped and was very concerned for the injured woman, who is from Great Harwood.
She was taken by ambulance to Royal Blackburn Hospital where she was admitted.
