CAMPAIGNERS for a heritage museum are urging support for a fundraising walk.
Enthusiasts in Stanhill are hoping to open a James Hargreaves museum in honour of the famous Spinning Jenny inventor.
Organiser Andy Barnes urged people to come forward and take part in the 33 mile Hyndburn Clog Walk to raise funds.
He said: "This is one of the most beautiful walks in the county. Walkers will have a chance to raise sponsorship for their own charities and good causes and completers will receive a commemorative medal and certificate.
Walkers can either choose to complete a ‘full clog’ or opt for a ‘half clog’ of just over 16 miles. The walk takes place on Saturday. June 1, anyone wishing to enter can go to www.stanhillresidents.co.uk
