50,000 views for Turton motorcycle safety video
A VIDEO promoting motorcycle safety has had more than 50,000 views on YouTube.
The film, named Mike’s Last Ride, was created following the death of experienced biker Mike Mangan, whose son Dave is a roads policing inspector with Lancashire Police’s East division.
Insp Mangan, from Turton, said he believed tiredness was a factor in the collision which killed his 72-year-old father.
He now wants to urge other motorcyclists to take extra care and has created the YouTube video as part of the safety campaign.
