GARDEN lovers are being recruited to help organisers of a free family fun day in Edgworth plant more than 1,000 bulbs.
The Kitchen Garden at Turton Tower is hosting the session at its Chapeltown Road base on Saturday, November 2 between 10.30am and 12.30pm. People must bring along suitable clothes and gardening gloves, with the aim to plant plenty of bulbs to guarantee a colourful spring garden at Turton Tower.
The Kitchen Garden at Turton Tower is being restored by volunteer gardeners as a productive fruit and vegetable garden.
Volunteers of all ages and expertise are always welcome to come and help out.
Complementary refreshments will be available on the day and for more information call Sue Jeffries on 07743 459818.
