ORGANISERS of a popular folk festival have hailed it their ‘best yet’.
More than £2,800 was raised by the Bromley Cross Folk Group’s annual two-day festival, which was staged in aid of the volunteer-run Barlow Institute at Edgworth. The yearly event collects funds to keep the community building open for nearby residents.
Committee member Elaine Wedge said: “It was just brilliant that we had such a wealth of local talent.”
