THE Barlow Institute in Edgworth will welcome a female folk trio from Scotland next week.
Jeana Leslie, Siobhan Miller and Jenn Butterworth will perform at the Bolton Road venue from 8pm.
The musicians came to prominence in 2008 as winners of the BBC Radio Two Young Folk Award In 2009, they received both the Hancock Horizon Award and Up and Coming Artist of the Year at the Scots Trad Music Awards.
Most recently, Siobhan was named Scots Singer of the Year at the Scots Trad Music Awards in 2011.
The trio has performed extensively throughout the UK and Europe, including many major festivals.
