Controversial plans to build 150 homes in Whittle-le-Woods are to come under scrutiny from residents at a consultation event this week.
Developer Redrow Homes is holding a public consultation event at Whittle-le-Woods Village Hall, Union Street, on Friday, for local people to view plans of the proposed development on land to the north and west of Lucas Lane.
The land has previously been reserved by the council for future development.
Robin Buckley, senior planning manager for Redrow Homes, said: “We’re looking to submit an outline planning application for up to 150 homes, but are keen to take account of the views of local people before finalising our masterplan.”
The public consultation event will take place from noon until 8pm on Friday, October 21, when residents and interested parties can view plans and ask questions of Redrow staff.
