A Clayton-le-Woods primary school is the proud recipient of 100 trees.
Children from Manor Road school planted the trees to create wildlife areas, outdoor classrooms and shelter belts.
Mahood Brothers, of Lathom supplied the trees.
They have joined up with Lancashire County Council's environmental projects team, who launched a countywide competition last October inviting schools to bid for the trees.
