A MOTORCYCLIST has died after a road collision in Clayton-le-Woods.
Daniel Pammen, 27, came from Clayton-le-Woods area where he lived long term partner Laura Hiles.
His Suzuki bike was in collision with a Range Rover on Blackburn Road, close to its junction with Merton Grove at 2pm on Saturday.
Dozens of floral tributes have been left at the site along with a Manchester United shirt signed by several people tied to a lamp post.
Sgt Alan Barron, of Chorley traffic police is leading the investigation into the incident and is appealing for anyone who saw the incident or events leading up to it to contact him.
