A Clayton-le-Woods lottery winner has given a boost to a local children’s hospice by donating a luxury hamper to help with fundraising.
Deborah Mather, who won more than £5m with a jackpot win in 2005, presented the seasonal gift to staff at the Derian House in Astley Village.
Accepting the donations, fundraising officer Roya Khadem said the hamper would be used as one of the top prizes in Derian’s Christmas Draw.
