Chorley Council has been praised for its work on the Buckshaw Village development.
The council received a commendation from the Royal Town Planning Institute for demonstrating best practice and good planning throughout the new development, near Euxton.
Judges praised the council’s use of masterplanning, partnership working and sustainable urban drainage systems throughout the development.
