A new magazine, based in Chorley, is promoting new fairy tales and raising money for Derian House Children’s Hospice.
New Fairy Tales, which is available to download from www.newfairytales.co.uk, has been set up by Claire Massey because of her love of fairy tales and the desire to give previously unpublished writers and illustrators a chance to showcase their work alongside the more established.
She said: “We have received submissions from all over the UK and from as far away as Russia, Canada and Australia. The magazine is being read across the globe but it was important to me to support a local children’s charity, I’m so pleased to be able to raise money for Derian House.”
It is a free to download PDF packed with beautiful illustrations; it can be printed out or read online. We are hoping readers will show their appreciation by making a small donation to Derian House Children’s Hospice through our Justgiving donation page.
