Children from St Gregory’s Catholic Primary School in Eaves Green Road,Chorley, took part in a project to make bird boxes to encourage bird life in the area.
On hearing of the school’s involvement, Miller Homes invited the children to its nearby Birkacre Park development to see where the bird boxes will be located.
The development, near the River Yarrow on the southern edge of Chorley, has achieved Eco-Homes’ ‘very good’ accreditation in the Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method [BREEAM].
