A CORONATION Street favourite is to switch on the Christmas lights in Chorley.
Sam Aston, who has played Chesney Brown for more than ten years, is to meet fans during an afternoon of fun and entertainment.
The Bacup actor will join X Factor singers Johnny Robinson, Kitty Brucknell and Giles Potter at the event on Saturday, November 16 from 3.30pm with main performances starting around 4pm.
The lights will be switched on around 6.30pm, finished off with fireworks.
