Lancashire law firm and Chamber Diamond Ambassador, Napthens has appointed a professional services specialist as its new director of finance.
Shru Morris joins the growing law firm following more than 10 years in the sector, having worked as an accountant at national firm Baker Tilly, where she also trained, and more recently in the finance department at Weightmans Solicitors in Liverpool.
She has experience of corporation and personal tax, mergers and acquisitions, and finance transformation projects.
The qualified chartered accountant of Lymm, Cheshire, will hold overall responsibility for Napthens’ strategic and operational financial management.
Ian Leigh, chief executive of Napthens, said: “Napthens is going through a period of growth and at the same time the legal sector as a whole is getting to grips with a number of reforms and changes in the marketplace.
“Shru will play a key role in helping to develop the firm’s business plan and growth strategy as we continue to focus on delivering the best possible service for our clients to meet their needs now and in the future.”
