Lancashire Telegraph readers have been voting for their favourite coffee shops for our contest, and we can now reveal the top 10 shortlist.
Nominations have been flying in from readers, who were eager to shine a spotlight on their favourite hotspots for our Best Coffee Shop competition.
This contest serves as a celebration of East Lancashire's thriving café culture, highlighting the hard work and passion of local café owners.
We have collected the votes and whittled them down to a top 10 that received the most nominations and made the final shortlist.
Over the coming days, readers will be able to vote for their favourite coffee shop by picking up a paper copy of the Lancashire Telegraph.
Those in the running for the Lancashire Telegraph Best Coffee Shop title are:
- 1617 Coffeehouse, Belgrave Square, Darwen
- Café Blanc, King William Street, Blackburn
- Caffee Impresso, King William Street, Blackburn
- Cappuccino @ The Hub Buckshaw, Unity Place, Buckshaw Village
- Checks & Greys Café, Cathedral Square Blackburn
- Exchange Coffee Co, Fleming Square, Blackburn
- Mad Hatters Cupcakes & Tearoom, Town Hall Street, Blackburn
- Café Ri-An, Stanley Street, Accrington
- Number 1 Coffee Shop, Bolton Road, Darwen
- Rhode Island Coffee, The Mall, Blackburn
There can only be one winner and it’s up to you to decide which business deserves the crown.
To help you decide, over the next 10 days we will be speaking with each of the businesses so you can learn more about them, their history and why they deserve to win the ‘Best Coffee Shop’ title.
This is not the first time we have hosted a competition like this as we hunted for the best curry house, according to readers, in October and November.
Voting slips will be in paper copies of the Lancashire Telegraph from Monday, November 25. Readers can use these to cast their votes.
The votes will then be counted and the winner will be unveiled soon after.
