CLARETS fans have been showing their true colours by tucking into a breakfast banger with a difference ahead of the East Lancashire derby.
And it took just a dash of red wine and blue Stilton by Crawshawbooth-based Riley’s Butchers to create the claret and blue sausages.
Master butcher Geoff Riley came up with the mouthwatering meaty treat but was eager to avoid using artificial food colours.
And his Burnley FC mad customers have been snapping up dozens of the sausages from their Burnley Road store in advance of the Ewood clash.
