A 59-YEAR-OLD Blackburn man who had worked as a maintenance engineer in a mill, and for a car exhaust firm, died of an asbestos-related cancer.
An inquest heard that William Power, of Lawrence Street, had worked at Roe Lee Mill, and for the exhaust manufacturer in Openshaw Drive.
The cause of death was given as a malignant maesothelioma, and coroner Michael Singleton returned a verdict of death due to industrial disease.
