Cars and vans parked overnight on the Fernhurst estate off Jack Walker Way, Ewood, had windows smashed and property stolen in a spate of crime.
Headphones were stolen from an unlocked car in Eckersley Close, and another five vehicles were broken into.
Sat navs were taken from a car in Brotherston Drive, a van in Arkwright Close, a van in Bailey Close and a car in Beamish Avenue.
CDs and cash were taken from a Land Rover, also in Beamish Close.
PC Gary Hennighan said: “This is a spate of crime committed by the same person or people in one night.
Inquiries are ongoing and there is may be CCTV footage.
“I would urge people to be vigilant over leaving valuables on display, particularly sat navs which are moved on easily because there’s a market for them.”
Police appealed for anybody who has seen suspicious activity to call police on 0845 1 253545.
