A FIRE sparked in a chimney wrecked the roof of a home in Little Harwood and spread to neighbouring homes.
The roofs of three houses caught fire after flames spread in the attic of a house, in Whalley Old Road, around 4pm on Friday.
Three fire engines, and an aerial ladder platform, were called, and firefighters spent almost four hours tackling the blaze.
Watch manager Phil Jones said: “We believe it is an accidental fire. It’s still under investigation.”
