A FUNDRAISER has walked, hiked and scrambled across 96 miles in aid of the East Lancashire Hospice.
Bev Eastwood made the seven-day trek from Milngavie to Fort William as part of the West Highland Way challenge.
The 36-year-old Lancashire Telegraph advertising rep completed the journey alongside friends Nicky Stoke, Heather Bury and Doreen Edinburgh, who all met on Trek USA in 2007.
Bev, from Cherry Tree, Blackburn, said: “We arrived at the finishing point of the West Highland Way in Fort William after a very tough 14 miles on the last day and then went to the pub to celebrate.
“It was a long hard slog but we all made it.”
The group has raised £380 but is still collecting online via www.justgiving. com\bobblehatdoesthewesthighlandway
