A FAMILY escaped a huge blaze at their home in Blackburn this morning.
Fire crews were called to the mid-terrace home in Isherwood Street at 7.45am.
The fire started in the kitchen of the property and caused extensive damage to the house. Other properties on the street were evacuated and neighbouring homes suffered some damage.
The occupants of the house were taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital for treatment for smoke inhalation.
