THIS was the scene in Copy Nook, Blackburn after a Citroen crashed into a bollard and lost a tyre.
The accident happened at 3.30pm on Monday, outside Barclays Bank.
It caused delays on the road until a tow truck removed the vehicle.
In another accident, a Mercedes van rolled 200 yards down a steep hill and ended up lodged on rocks in the middle of a grassed area.
The incident happened at around 7pm on Sunday, in Oozehead Lane, Blackburn.
The vehicle was eventually removed four hours later, with pouring rain making working conditions more difficult.
The driver said he had left the handbrake on, but not put the vehicle in reverse gear as he normally did when he parked on the hill.
