DIANA Vickers’s workmates have joined the Lancashire Telegraph’s campaign to get East Lancashire voting for the bare-footed singer.
Everyone at Blackburn’s Marks and Spencer branch is 100 per cent behind X Factor hopeful Diana, who works weekend shifts in the store’s ladieswear department.
Diana’s boss, Lorna Holt, said the Westholme pupil is like a member of the family, as she used to come in as a little girl with her mum Ann, who has worked at the M&S branch for 30 years.
She said: “It is like a family here and none of us have a social life any more because we all have to stay in and watch X Factor on a Saturday night.
“On Fridays and Saturdays we all have our Diana T Shirts on in the store and there are posters of her everywhere. We are all so proud and think she’s doing brilliantly.
I can’t believe she’s been called a diva in some newspapers.
"It’s such rubbish – there’s no diva in Diana, what you see is what you get.
"She’s got lots of friends here and we’ll all be voting Diana on Saturday.”
