A DIRECTOR of a Blackburn takeaway has entered not guilty pleas to 15 allegations brought under food hygiene regulations.
Khalid Yussuf, 48, of Raymond Avenue, London, entered the pleas on behalf of Chesters Chicken and Pizza on Copy Nook.
The allegations include failure to ensure food premises were kept clean and in good repair, inadequate procedures to control pests and prevent domestic animals from having access to premises, failure to protect food from contamination likely to render it unfit for human consumption, failure to ensure raw materials were properly stored and failure to ensure food handlers are supervised and trained in food hygiene.
