The owner of a coffee shop in Blackburn said he is “overwhelmed and excited” to be nominated as one of Lancashire's best coffee shops.
Cafe Blanć, in King William Street, is in the running for Lancashire Telegraph’s Best Coffee Shop competition, as voted by our readers.
A spokesperson said the team was “beyond excited” about the nomination.
He said: “We are beyond excited to announce that we’ve been nominated as one of the top 10 Best Coffee Shops in Lancashire.
“This nomination was a morale boost and such an incredible honour, and we couldn’t have made it this far without the support of each and every one of you.
“We want to say a huge thank you to our amazing customers, friends, and community who have made this journey possible. Let’s keep the coffee love going!”

The owner, who has asked not to be named, opened theThere are big plans for the business and there are ambitious plans to open another site in Deansgate, Manchester, next year.
He said: “Coffee is on the boom - everyone seems to want to drink coffee these days and I am passionate about the industry.
“We opened a year ago and business has been good.
"We run out of space all the time and we can’t cater for lunchtime because everyone loves our food and coffee.”
A variety of coffees and cakes are on the menu. It’s also a go-to lunch destination for town centre workers and punters, with loaded fries, sandwiches packed with fillings and beyond featuring on the menu.
Café Blanc also caters for each season, with Christmas treats expected to come through the doors in December.
The owner said: “We sell all sorts of cakes and treats. We had bakes for Halloween and now we have our Christmas treats coming through now.
“I think we are the best in town. There is a great buzz in the place and it looks great too.”
