A "VULNERABLE" teenager has been found - and was oblivious to the fact her disappearance had sparked a massive police hunt.
Attia Nissa, 16, disappeared just minutes after dropping off her niece at nursery.
She was found today at an address in Blackburn and police said she was "completely unaware" of the huge effort to find her.
Attia, who speaks poor English, had not been seen since she left Ashworth Nursery, Addison Close, Blackburn, around 12.45pm on Friday.
She vanished after walking to the nursery with her three-year-old niece.
She had left her home, in Bromley Street, 30 minutes earlier with just £10 in her pocket and her mobile phone, which has not been used since Thursday.
Detective Chief Inspector Neil Hunter said: "From a professional point of view it's a fantastic ending.
"It has been a demanding and intensive inquiry involving a large number of officers, including detectives, uniformed staff and interpreters, all working together to find her safe and well.
"When we are dealing with young vulnerable females who have gone missing, it's one of the most difficult set of circumstances to investigate."
Her family, including four sisters, brother, and father are delighted that she has been found.
Her mother, who was visiting the country on a temporary visa, flew back to Pakistan in December to look after an ill relative.
Attia has lived in Blackburn for two years after moving to East Lancashire from Redditch in Worcestershire.
She moved to Redditch six years ago with her family from Pakistan.
Attia's sister Robina Bi, 18, of Bromley Street, said the family were delighted to know that she was safe and well.
She said: "I heard at 1pm and I am just so shocked and happy.
"We were all jumping around the house when we heard. It was such a relief.
"She's my little sister and I really love her and she's my baby. I just can't explain my feelings and how happy I am.
"It's just really good news and all the family are smiling again.
"Last night my father was crying and saying he just wanted her back.
"He is just so pleased that she was found.
"He has gone from hardly being able to get out of bed to being himself again.
"At this stage we have got no idea where she was, or what she was doing, because she has never done anything like this before.
"When I see her I just want to hug and kiss her and check she is safe."
