THE search for a missing 26-year-old man who disappeared 12 days ago has been widened to Scarborough.
The move was revealed as police said they were becoming "extremely worried" about Daniel Palmer.
Police believe Mr Palmer, of Wensley Road, may have gone to the seaside town and are also investigating connections with Preston, Chorley and Wigan.
Daniel, a former Blackburn with Darwen College student, went missing on Friday, October 19, after being stopped and spoken to by two policemen while out in Langho.
He withdrew £10 from a cash machine in Clitheroe the following day, but has not been seen since.
His father Andrew had flown back from Cambodia especially to see his son but has not yet made contact with him.
Daniel is described as 6ft 2in, slim, with dark brown hair which has recently been shaved.
He has blue eyes and was last seen wearing a slate grey colour zip-up nylon jacket and dark blue jeans.
He was wearing a blue knitted hat and green and brown walking shoes.
He was also carrying a blue and black rucksack.
PC Patrick Greene said: "We are growing increasingly concerned for Daniel as he has not been seen for over a week. His family are extremely worried about him.
"Daniel's mum is really concerned about him and wants him to know that he is not in trouble.
"We just want him to return home safe and well."
