A GOVERNMENT minister visited East Lancashire today to see a range of projects in the region.
Beverley Hughes, minister for children, young people and families and regional minister for the North West, made a whistle-stop visit.
She visited Bank Top in Blackburn to see the housing market renewal taking place before opening a children's centre on Carnarvon Road in the Wensley Fold area.
She then attended a presentation at Eanam Wharf Business Centre.
Mrs Hughes also visited the Burnley Wood area of Burnley to see the Elevate housing regeneration.
