BLACKBURN MP Jack Straw gave a new warehousing a smashing opening - by taking a sledgehammer to the door of Number 10.
The Justice Minister officially opened PVC-U stockist GAP's new 45,000sq ft warehouse at Shadsworth Business Park, Blackburn.
And he marked the ceremony by hitting a mock-up of the Prime Minister's front door instead of the usual ribbon cutting.
According to GAP, the warehouse is the largest depot of its kind in the country and will allow the company to expand.
GAP's joint managing director Charles Greensmith said: "We are delighted Jack Straw opened our new central warehouse."
GAP stocks more than 3,000 products, ranging from facias, gutters, window trims and silicones.
