A man convicted of drug dealing has been ordered to forfeit £2,550 seized by police when they raided his home.
Magistrates in Blackburn heard police also found heroin and crack cocaine at the home of Hasan Mumtaz in Infirmary Street.
Julia Pickering, a financial investigator working with police, said Mumtaz had been convicted of possession with intent to supply and had been jailed for 10 months in prison by Preston Crown Court.
She said Mumtaz had claimed he had lent his coat to another man and it came back with the drugs in the pockets.
He also claimed the other man had given him the £2,550 cash to look after.
