THREE people were treated for smoke inhalation by paramedics after oil in a frying pan caught fire.
Firefighters said a woman at the house in Glenfield Close, Little Harwood, Blackburn started cooking at 3am today.
Three teenagers and their mum evacuated the house when the fire alarm went off.
Crew manager Liam Wilson said the fire had extinguished itself when they arrived and they used a ventilation unit to clear the smoke.
He said: "Thankfully nobody was seriously injured."
