A MAN has appeared in court accused of rape, sexual assault, making threats to kill and assault.
Lancashire magistrates heard how Terry Dunne, 35, of Infirmary Street, Blackburn, allegedly raped a woman in Blackburn on June 15.
On the same day Dunne was said to have made threats to kill a woman in Blackburn.
Dunne was also said to have carried out another rape in Blackburn on June 15 and on the same day he is alleged to have sexually assaulted a woman.
Magistrates heard how Dunne was said to have caused a woman aged 16 or over to engage in sexual activity when she did not consent or did not reasonably believe she was consenting.
That offence was said to have taken place in Blackburn on June 15 and on the same day Dunne is accused of carrying out an assault.
No pleas were entered.
Magistrates remanded Dunne into custody until he appears at Preston Crown Court on July 11.
