A 62-YEAR-OLD man is preparing to spend 12 hours on a cross trainer to help raise cash for poorly children.
Terry Moorby has hit headlines with his previous fundraising efforts, such as dragging a Peugeot 106 around a Shadsworth car park 21 times in 2011.
And now the retired builder, of Devon Road, Blackburn, will bid to spend a day on a cross trainer at Probodies Gym, in Bolton Road,Blackburn, on December 16, to raise money for Children in Need.
He said: “I’ve had two hip operations and I’m 62 years old, but I’m determined to keep raising money for charity.
“I like doing these things for good causes and keeping fit as well.
“The owner of the gym, Simon Jones, is fully behind the event and is allowing me to train there for free.”
